Honouring Our Heroes - Donation

On Monday, October 02, Ken W. Hoffer, President of the Society of Atlantic Hereos and Rollie Lawless, Director of Veterans Outreach had the pleasure to meet with Josh Cochrane and his mother Anne to receive a generous donation of $1000.00.  Josh also presented a montage of photos showing him with various veterans (photo of Rollie included) that he supports.  Josh was recently awarded a bursary at the Prince’s Youth Service Awards ceremony in Toronto.  He has graciously donated a portion of those proceeds to help with the Society's  PTSD campaign. You can read up on his award on the following link. http://www.princescharities.ca/news/2017-princes-youth-service-awards-winners-announced/
Josh is an active humanitarian in his community - helping his friends who are suffering from cancer related illnesses. He also serves as an international advocate for autism and is a strong supporter of veterans and first responders who suffer with PTSD.  As an accomplished musician and vocalist, Josh will sing O' Canada at our upcoming Gala on 21 October in the Casino Halifax.  Josh is truly an outstanding young leader whose altruistic values inspires all of us
